Starting as a band manager, he went on to work in virtually every area of the music business. He worked at major label RCA Records, then BMG as State Promotions Manager, for an understanding of artist, manager and the majors' perspectives.

At BMG, he was integrally involved in the marketing and promotion of John Farnham's Whispering Jack album. Since 1986 it has remained the biggest selling Australian artist album of all time. 20 years later on last official ARIA report in 2006 Australian sales had reached 1,680,000, which is 24 x Platinum (in Australia).

Nick has been privileged to work many talented artists of differing music styles. Some are revered as grass roots legends, in a Hall of Fame, have won awards like Grammy's, ARIA's, BMI's, Emmy's, Handy's and more
